It wasn't hard to follow a trail...
Even in egypt.
Ulrich sat down on a chair outside of a building waiting quitly knowing his prey would pass.
He had to catch this Asuka girl and bring her back. If she is on the good side, and so rightous... he thought Then she might be good enough to sacrifice herself quitly since I have a fairly nice goal
He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black shirt with black pants. His pale skin seemed to shimmer in the bright light, as his powder blue eeys lurked in shadow.

Asuka walked past the building, she was wearing a purple shirt with blue jeans.

Ulrich came up behind Asuka with all the swiftness and silence of a ghost.
"I need your assitance, miss." He said casually as he took his hat off, holding it to his chest.
"You can save my daughter and wife." He said plainly. His voice was void of fear or deasperation giving and erie chill to the situation.
No one was around- no one but asuka herself and he. This might be easier than I thought

"By comming with me..." He said simply as he unbuckled his coat slowly, the very air growing icy around him as frost began to wrap around his skin.
"To London." He added as the trench coat fell to the sandy ground revealing his muscle shirt and police gun holsters on either side. He drew one of them and as his gem activated and the little girl, Opal, stood next to him.
"My Father needs you to bring back Sissy and Mommy." The little girl said plainly.
"Please." Ulrich said scorned. "Come quitely."

Ulrich's past as a cop and detective bleed through. His posture and expression were precise and calculated. "I don't know." He said as he looked at her.
"You are needed by someone who can bring back my family." He said as he pointed the gun at her.
"Come along now...theres no escaping me." he said determination burning in his eyes.

Asuka took a step back and gulped, '' Is the person your talking about Micheal '' she stuttered as she took a step back. '' I wont '' she shouted as she turned around and ran off.

Ulrich didn't miss a beat- he fired the freezing bullets at the girl's legs. If even one grazed her her legs would be useless.
Also he send his gem ahead to block off the only exit and to freeze it so it was slippery.

Asuka quickly collapsed when one of the hit her legs, she looked up at him and took out her gem '' Get away from me ! '' she shouted tears running down her face, she would never go back to that place.

Ulrich felt a little odd...he felt a pressure in his stomach, like ti was turning over.
Why am I doing this...? He thought staring at her, gun branished.
I vowed to protect people...not hurt na innocent girl to acheive a goal that might not even exist
His Gem's form looked up at him with her white eyes. "Father...we must." The Gem said in its light and youthful voice. "For Sissy and Mother...we need the girl." There was an erie calmness to the Gem.
Ulrich pulled out a pair of handcuffs. "I'm quite sorry." He said simply as he grabbed her arm.

Asuka looked at him as he reached for her, she held up her gem and suddenly in a bright light apeared and Asuka was gone and she was in her jem outfit, She then kicked him from behind.

Ulrich felt the kick hit him, but he didn't cringe or even change his expression.
"Don't try to complicate these things child." He said as he raised his frosted hand...
"That leg of yours is still vey useless." He said as he extended his arm, and droped to one knee, punching th ground as the hot sandy street froze as if pure hydrogen had been spilt.
"This is your last chance to comply before I use the full extent of my power." He said plaintly.
Still...there was the feeling that this was wrong. It all felt so...missing. Like he was watching the last half of a movie. He didn't feel like himself, and his thoughts were muddled.

Asuka watched as she sand froze and jumped to an area were the ice wasent that high '' NO '' she said.

Ulrich stood up and rolled his head in Asuka's direction.
"Opal." He said and the seemingly forgoten Gem perked up at her name. "I can't wound a child, so will you handle this situation please?" He said as he sat down on a closed trash can.
The little girl smilled, and a scary tone of pleasure came into her youthful voice. "Yes, Father." She said as she walked, uneffected by the ice to a few feet away from Asuka.
"Your mean." She said plainly. "You won't come with us to bring our family back...your a bad person!" The Opal said through clenched fists.
Opal longed to be human...she wanted to become Ulrichs true daughter and have a mother and big sister and be happy. She wasn't about to let Asuka stand in her way.
"Your comming with Father and I." She said as she raised her arms and a few rather sharp ice cicles formed.
